Gingrich to Trump: Stay Calm and Hit Hard at the Debate
Laura invited Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House, on a recent episode of ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ to share his advice for the Republican candidate in light of the upcoming presidential debate on June 27.
“Notice the style, the calmness, the use of humor. Staying balanced,” Gingrich recommended.

“Second, answer the question you wish they’d ask. Don’t get involved in games with the reporters… That stage is anti-Trump. Accept that going in and just relax.”
Despite being conscious of mannerisms, Gingrich also suggested that Trump ask the hard-hitting questions.

“I think I would say to Biden, have you been to a grocery store? Do you have any idea of the damage your policies have done to everyday Americans?” he said.
“And I would talk with the American people, not with the politicians. And I’d make my entire debate about the future of the American people and the fact that Biden’s a failure.”
