Tulsi Gabbard: Washington is out of touch with everyday Americans

In a recent segment on “The Ingraham Angle,” former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard sharply criticized the current administration. She argued that Washington elites are disconnected from the struggles of ordinary Americans.

Gabbard described leaders as “out of touch” with real hardships. She noted that officials seem to “sit in their ivory towers,” missing the daily struggles people face. Gabbard argued that the administration’s narrative of economic recovery falls flat as Americans grapple with high grocery bills and inflation.

She praised former President Trump’s approach, saying it resonates across party lines. Gabbard highlighted Trump’s ability to connect, listen, and offer real solutions. Unlike Kamala Harris, Trump openly discusses threats like nuclear conflict, which Gabbard believes the current administration largely ignores.

Gabbard also expressed concerns about Washington’s focus on Ukraine over domestic needs. She shared feedback from North Carolina residents who feel forgotten. Many believe the administration should prioritize local issues, like Hurricane Helene’s impact, over foreign concerns.

When asked about a potential role in a future Trump administration, Gabbard responded diplomatically. She noted that only Trump can make that decision. Yet her commitment to advocating for Americans remains clear, positioning her as a voice for those feeling unheard.
