Enriquez: Hispanic Support for Trump Is the New Normal
Abraham Enriquez, founder and president of Bienvenido USA, joined The Ingraham Angle to discuss shifting Hispanic loyalties in the latest election. He highlighted that 46% of Hispanic voters supported Donald Trump. According to Enriquez, this reflects their concerns about economic stability, safety, and the American dream.
Enriquez noted how media outlets like CNN and MSNBC labeled Hispanic voters as “racist and sexist.” He argued that these labels only strengthen support for Trump. Many Hispanic voters feel frustrated with this narrative. Enriquez believes they are increasingly overlooked by the Democratic Party, which he said often ignores key issues like economic challenges and community safety.

Border security, Enriquez explained, is a major issue for Hispanic voters. He pointed to Stark County in South Texas, a traditionally Democratic area with a 97% Hispanic population. Here, support for Trump surged. Enriquez attributed this to frustration with the Biden administration’s handling of border policies. He described Democrats’ approach as dismissive, prompting border communities to seek alternatives. As a result, many of these areas now align with the GOP, seeing Republicans as more in tune with their concerns.
Enriquez believes this trend is the “new normal” for Hispanic support of the GOP. Voters, he said, are wary of Democratic policies. He cited Kamala Harris’s campaign rhetoric, noting that her portrayal of Trump as a “threat to democracy” falls flat. This approach, Enriquez argued, reminds Hispanic voters of political maneuvering in socialist regimes.
More Hispanic voters now favor Trump’s direct approach. His record on economic growth, public safety, and border security resonates with them. Enriquez argued that media criticism will likely accelerate this shift. “President Trump’s record on economic stability, security, and his stance on border issues resonates deeply,” he said. “This support is likely here to stay.”
