Trump Admin Targets Anti-Christian Bias With New Task Force
Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced the launch of a new Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias—a major initiative under President Trump’s recent executive order.
“This task force will identify any unlawful anti-Christian policies, practices, or conduct across the government,” Bondi said. She stood alongside faith leaders and individuals who have experienced religious discrimination. “We’re seeking input from faith-based organizations and state governments to root out this bias at every level.”
Bondi cited what she called a “pattern of targeting peaceful Christians” during the Biden administration. For example, pro-life Christians were arrested for praying outside abortion clinics. The FBI, she noted, also surveilled traditional Catholics in their parishes. Even worse, vandalism against churches rose sharply—up eightfold between 2018 and 2023.
Moreover, she condemned President Biden’s decision to declare Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day of Visibility.” Bondi called it a clear insult to Christian values.
“Under President Trump’s directive, we ended those abuses on day one,” she said. “We dropped three politically charged prosecutions against pro-lifers. We also redefined the FACE Act to prevent future misuse. American taxpayers will no longer fund the targeting of people of faith.”
The task force begins work immediately. Its top priority is outreach to communities affected by anti-Christian discrimination. The goal, according to Bondi, is to restore constitutional protections for Christians across the country.
