Luna Demands FEMA Probe Over Denied Claims in Hard-Hit Florida Districts
In a recent appearance on “The Ingraham Angle,” Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna expressed frustration over FEMA’s disaster relief response. Luna, representing a hard-hit Florida district, criticized FEMA for allegedly denying claims from Hurricane Milton victims, many of whom suffered significant losses.
“I expect a full investigation, and I want to see emails,” Luna stated. “One of my districts was hit hard, with 13 lives lost.”
Luna claimed that most of her constituents’ claims were denied. “This administration is weaponized,” she continued. “They likely know of other instances but are covering them up. We need to get to the bottom of it.”
Rep. Luna: We Will Ensure Hurricane Relief Goes to Impacted Americans
Her concerns resonated with reports from North Carolina, where similar complaints about FEMA were raised.
“We heard reports from North Carolina that people were also denied,” Luna noted. “After the hurricane, Biden assured us we’d get all needed assistance. But this wasn’t an isolated issue.”
Laura added that, while the Biden administration is quick to aid migrants at the southern border, Americans needing disaster relief are left behind. “This is playing with people’s lives, property, and basic needs,” she argued. “Migrants crossing the border get help, but Americans are ignored.”
