Josh Hawley: Kamala Harris is a Puppet for Powerful Elites

On a recent segment of “The Ingraham Angle,” Missouri Senator Josh Hawley joined Laura Ingraham to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris and the current dynamics within the Democratic Party.

Hawley asserted that if Harris secures the Democratic nomination, it would not change who truly runs the show in the White House. “It will be the same people, Laura, but it won’t be anybody actually in the White House,” he said, pointing to Wall Street, big business, and Hollywood as the real power players. According to Hawley, these entities were responsible for choosing Joe Biden and are now auditioning his replacement.

Reports indicate that Harris has been actively seeking support from Democratic donors. Ingraham noted that other prominent Democrats like Josh Shapiro, Gavin Newsom, and Gretchen Whitmer have chosen not to run. Hawley interpreted this as an indication of the daunting challenge posed by Donald Trump. “They know that it’s likely a suicide mission,” he said, praising Trump for not being beholden to Hollywood, Wall Street, or big business.

Hawley emphasized that Trump’s independence from these powerful interests is his greatest endorsement. “In fact, they all hate him, which is the best endorsement of Trump he could possibly get,” he noted. Hawley framed the election as a stark choice between a candidate who genuinely represents the American people and one who would serve elite interests.

Ingraham questioned how global leaders might view the state of American democracy under Democratic leadership. Hawley responded by criticizing the Democratic Party’s internal dynamics, describing them as laughable. “The Democrats are rigging their own elections, Laura. I mean, this is hysterical. I mean, it looks like, dare we say it, an insurrection,” he said, highlighting what he sees as the hypocrisy of the Democratic Party’s actions.

Hawley concluded by describing the Democratic Party’s efforts to find a new candidate as a desperate power grab. “Joe Biden is no longer useful to them. They’re trying to find their next puppet. And we’re going to have several weeks of auditioning for who that puppet is going to be,” he stated. Hawley expressed confidence in Trump’s candidacy, declaring, “Republicans know our candidate is Donald Trump, who’s not a puppet, and that’s why he’s going to win in November.”
