Jason Miller: Weak U.S. Presidency Invites Threats from Terrorists and Bad Actors
In a recent episode of ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ Jason Miller, a senior adviser to Donald Trump, criticized the Democratic party for their perceived indifference to the threats against Donald Trump.
“I’m absolutely disgusted that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden can laugh about this or completely ignore it,” Miller said on the show.
“You heard from President Trump today that if there was another country that was making threats or a potential assassination attempt on a leader such as himself or on one of his political opponents, he would take immediate action. He would send a signal that they would be blown to smithereens. This is not just some political attack. This is not simple election interference. Laura, this is an attack on the entire United States.”

He further raised questions about the security measures surrounding Trump.
“You have this active threat against President Trump who, again, he’s not just some candidate. He’s a former and future president of the United States,” Miller explained.
“President Trump has said repeatedly how much he respects the brave men and women who are part of his detail with the Secret Service. But culturally and structurally, that institution needs to be changed. I don’t know why it hasn’t been done already. This, again, this is an attack on all Americans.”
Furthermore, Miller addressed comments from international figures, including the mayor of London, warning against Trump’s re-election.
“I think [the UK] should mind their own business. The fact of the matter is, when you have a strong American presidency, you have strong democracy all around the world,” Miller told Ingraham.

“Other democracies wonder why they’re being threatened, whether it be these terrorist actors or the other bad actors all around the world. It’s because when that presidency, when the person residing at 1600 Pennsylvania in Washington, D.C., is weak and we don’t have that sense of deterrence, bad things happen.”
He added: “I would say to the mayor of London, they had to check himself on this one because he is some point he’s going to need President Trump and America to have his back.”
