Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker Endorses Senator Josh Hawley, Defends Traditional Values
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker recently made waves on The Ingraham Angle, not just for his strong defense of Catholic values but also for endorsing Missouri Senator Josh Hawley in his reelection campaign. Butker, speaking during his team’s bye week, praised Hawley as a family man and a champion of traditional values.
“It’s the bye week, so I have some time,” Butker said. “Who else would I want to hit the campaign trail with? Senator Josh Hawley, who is a family man, a godly man, and the first candidate I’m endorsing.” The football star shared his enthusiasm for supporting Hawley, describing the campaign trail as “amazing” and likening the experience to the excitement of game day.
Family Under Fire: How the Left is Destroying Traditions
Butker, who had previously drawn criticism for his outspoken defense of homemakers and traditional family roles, reiterated his views on the show. “I was trying to speak life for so many women that have dedicated their life to being the homemaker… It’s a beautiful role, and it’s not one that should be diminished,” Butker explained, adding that he was saddened by the backlash but stood by his message.
Senator Hawley, in turn, expressed deep appreciation for Butker’s endorsement. “It’s been incredible to be out with him on the trail,” Hawley said. “This is a guy who’s not afraid to speak the truth… We need more of that in the United States of America.” Hawley praised Butker for not backing down in the face of left-wing criticism and pointed to their shared commitment to defending core American values.
As both men continue to advocate for faith and family on the campaign trail, Butker also made clear that he supports Donald Trump for the presidency, citing the former president’s strong pro-life stance. “I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life… That’s the most crucial topic for me,” Butker emphasized.
The powerful partnership between Butker and Hawley reflects their shared commitment to traditional values, setting the tone for a campaign that could resonate deeply with conservative voters.
