Former BLM Activist: Black Men Reject Kamala Due to ‘Lack of Accomplishments’

The conversation focused on the growing dissatisfaction with Harris, as Durousseau attributed the erosion of support to her lack of accomplishments during her tenure as Vice President.

Durousseau was clear in his critique, stating, “Black men not supporting Kamala has nothing to do with her being a woman. It has everything to do with her lack of accomplishments over the last 1,359 days.” He emphasized the frustration among Black voters who feel disrespected by the assumption that their votes can be secured purely through identity politics.

Daniels noted that Obama’s return to support Harris feels like a desperate move. “Most men I’ve spoken with have said that it’s absolutely disrespectful. We’re done with Obama,” Daniels asserted.

Laura Ingraham furthered the conversation by questioning whether Obama’s “charm offensive” still resonates. “The charm offensive from him? It’s not 2008 any longer,” Ingraham remarked, suggesting that Black men are now more focused on economic realities like inflation and immigration than on symbolic identity politics.

Durousseau closed the discussion with a personal note: “We are sick and tired of being expected to feel good with Barack Obama. Or now they’re trying to put the ovarian version of Barack Obama up there.” He humorously added, “On behalf of Black men, it’s not that we’re opposed to having a female president… I would love to vote for you, Miss Ingraham, if you ever decide to run.”
