Josh Hawley: Democrats Are Panicking as Trump Exposes Their Power Grabs

Senator Josh Hawley didn’t hold back in a fiery segment on The Ingraham Angle. He warned that Democrats are in full-blown panic mode as President Trump dismantles their power structures. Hawley explained how taxpayer money has been funneled into left-wing projects and media outlets with little oversight. He emphasized that Trump’s policies threaten to upend this system.

Democrats’ Power at Risk

“They’re panicking big time, Laura, because their power base is being threatened,” Hawley said. He pointed to USAID as an example of how Democrats have turned government agencies into personal slush funds. These funds have financed everything from “trans-affirming projects in Zimbabwe” to left-wing media outlets like Politico. “Who knows what other left-wing rags have been getting federal money from this agency?” he asked. He highlighted the lack of transparency and accountability in government spending.

Hawley made it clear that Trump’s leadership is exposing these financial pipelines. By cutting off what he called the “liberal supply chains,” Trump is forcing change. According to Hawley, the left is growing desperate because they are losing control over institutions they have long relied on for influence. “The liberals are just losing their minds. We need more of it,” he said.

Fighting Back Against Weaponization

Hawley also tackled the Democrats’ strategy of using government agencies to maintain power. “Not a doubt in my mind,” he responded when asked if Democrats would resume investigations and impeachment efforts if they regained control of the House. “They would absolutely turn the full weaponization of government back on,” he warned. He cited past abuses such as illegal FBI wiretaps and SWAT raids on pro-lifers.

He argued that Trump’s push to dismantle these bureaucratic strongholds is crucial. “Let’s make it the External Revenue Service,” Hawley said. He endorsed Trump’s plan to overhaul the IRS and ensure government agencies work for the American people rather than political elites.

Hawley closed with a direct message to voters. He accused Democrats of prioritizing foreign left-wing initiatives over strengthening jobs, wages, and border security. “That’s their message. I hope they run on this in the midterms. This is exactly what the American people rejected,” he said.

His remarks painted a clear picture. Trump is reshaping Washington, and the Democrats know their grip on power is slipping. With the 2024 election approaching, Hawley made it clear that the battle over government accountability and power is just getting started.
