McCarthy: Kamala’s Leftist Policies Won’t Work for America

On The Ingraham Angle, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy sharply criticized Kamala Harris’s political strategy and voting record. According to McCarthy, Harris’s policies align with far-left ideologies that clash with mainstream American values.

“Harris’s record as a senator places her to the left of AOC, to the left of Bernie Sanders,” McCarthy said. He argued that, while she presents herself as a unifier, her policies tell a different story. “She only speaks the way she does right now because she’s on Teleprompter. Not only does she hold far-left views, but it’s how she feels about you, me, and all your viewers. They think we’re garbage.”

McCarthy also noted a shift in Harris’s campaign tone, contrasting her original message of “joy” with an increasingly angry approach. Despite vast campaign spending, he argued, Harris has not offered voters a clear vision. “Can you tell me three things she is willing to do if elected? All I know is create inflation with homes,” he remarked, saying her economic plans would likely raise costs for American households.

McCarthy observed that Harris’s appeal to female voters appears weak, with early poll numbers trailing Biden’s 2020 campaign. He suggested that her scare tactics reflect a lack of positive vision for America’s future. “She does not inspire people about what the country will be like,” he said. “Instead, she attacks her opponents and their supporters. That’s not America.”

The former Speaker also criticized ongoing unrest in cities like Los Angeles, attributing it to “liberal policies” and a lack of accountability. He singled out Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon, describing his policies as part of a “socialist” agenda from Harris’s San Francisco base. McCarthy argued that this “soft-on-crime” approach endangers public safety and reflects Harris’s leadership.

He closed his critique by stressing the need for leaders who value secure borders, safe streets, and a strong economy. “We have a real chance not only to change the D.A. in L.A. but to elect a president who values security, safe communities, and an economy that works for everyone,” McCarthy concluded.
