On a recent segment, Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake discussed urgent issues facing the state. From illegal immigration to her opponent’s stance on border security, Lake’s message was clear: Arizona needs change. Fresh off a rally in Tempe with Donald Trump, Lake highlighted her commitment to securing the border and called out her opponent, Ruben Gallego, for his inconsistent record.

Lake described the alarming influx of illegal migrants entering Arizona each night. During her recent visit to Yuma, she saw firsthand the struggles at the border. “The federal government has put up a banner,” Lake said. The CBP One app, she explained, guides migrants on how to secure housing and other resources. “It’s insane. We’re paying for that,” she added, expressing the frustration felt by many Arizonans.

Lake was also clear about her plans if she wins the Senate seat. “In January of ’25, when President Trump is elected, and I’m elected in the Senate, we’re going to use that CBP One app the other way. We’re going to find out who came in and we’re going to send them back to their homeland,” she declared. For Lake, securing the border is essential to protecting Arizona’s identity. “In order to save our homeland, they got to go back to theirs,” she emphasized.

Lake also criticized Gallego’s recent support for the border wall, calling it a deceptive pivot. “He just lies,” she said, noting his previous stance dismissing the wall as “dumb” and “stupid.” According to Lake, Gallego’s shift is a tactic to appeal to voters before the election.

Laura asked Lake why her race remains close despite Gallego’s record. Lake pointed to her campaign’s internal polling, which she says looks promising. She believes many voters are “activated” to support both her and Trump. “He’s the most radical left member of Congress that nobody’s ever heard of,” Lake asserted, pointing out his record of aligning with Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden.

In a lighter moment, Laura played a clip of former President Bill Clinton’s commentary on Lake’s candidacy. Clinton praised Lake’s physical appeal but questioned her political style, calling it “performance art.” Laughing, Lake responded, “I guess Bill Clinton never changes, right?” While flattered, she made it clear she’s “happily married” and “probably too young for him,” adding, “I don’t want to get on Hillary Clinton’s bad side—that’s a dangerous place to be.”

Turning back to the issues, Lake stressed the urgency of the election. “Arizona is going to vote to save itself because of this onslaught of illegal immigration caused by the Democrats,” she said. She urged voters to visit her website to explore her policy views, noting her commitment to making Arizona “safe, secure, and affordable again.”
