Seen And Unseen: Elmo Checks In
Sesame Street resident Elmo asked a seemingly harmless question on X and the responses, as Raymond Arroyo explained on ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ were on the darker side.
The tweet, which was posted on January 29, 2024, received more than 19,000 responses and nearly 206 million views.
One user commented, “I’m going to be real. I’m at my limit.”
Another wrote, ”Elmo, my man, have you been to the grocery store lately? Stop gaslighting us.”
Sen. Kevin Cramer: Biden Already Lost This Argument
“You know it’s real here, Laura,” Arroyo said. “And I kind of found it sad when you read these, these missives that this is where America is going. This you see adults kind of pouring out their hearts to a puppet created for preschoolers and it speaks to the arrested development that really you see throughout the culture.”
After Laura Ingraham questioned whether Elmo regularly checks in on his X followers, Arroyo points out the hypocrisy of Biden’s uplifting response to the children’s character.
“Even Biden had to get in on the Act law, writing, ‘I know how hard it is some days to sweep the clouds away and get to sunnier days.’
Laura: This Is Biden’s Bogus Border Deal
“Now, Laura, this is a man who just announced a year later that he’s finally going to visit those poor people in Palestine, Ohio, after that horrible train derailment. But it is time to talk back and forth and respond to Elmo? I mean, come on,” Arroyo said.
