J.D. Vance Warns: Kamala Harris Will ‘Blunder Us Into World War III’

Senator J.D. Vance, GOP vice presidential nominee, joined Laura Ingraham on The Ingraham Angle to discuss various pressing topics, ranging from Kamala Harris‘s economic policies to foreign affairs and the ongoing military recruitment crisis. Vance delivered a sharp critique of Harris’s track record, particularly questioning her campaign promises and leadership.

The discussion began with Harris’s latest economic initiative, dubbed “Kamala Nomics 2.0,” which she plans to highlight on the campaign trail. Vance dismissed the initiative as another example of empty promises, pointing out that Harris has had over three years to address the same issues. “Kamala Harris is promising to do something if the American people give her a promotion that she hasn’t been doing for the past three and a half years as vice president,” Vance said. He highlighted the struggles Americans face, such as higher grocery prices and a wide-open southern border, claiming that Harris’s policies have contributed to these problems.

Vance took aim at Harris’s overall economic approach, describing it as “pro-globalism and anti-American worker.” He argued that her policies incentivize companies to move jobs overseas, particularly to China, and noted that this undermines the American middle class. In contrast, Vance emphasized that Donald Trump’s policies prioritize penalizing companies that offshore jobs and lowering taxes for American workers, a clear distinction between the two candidates’ economic visions.

The conversation then turned to U.S. Steel and Harris’s opposition to its potential foreign acquisition. While Harris had tweeted her opposition, Vance questioned her sincerity and ability to act. “If Kamala Harris wants to protect U.S. steel and keep it U.S. steel, I wonder if she knows anyone in a position of authority, like maybe the vice president of the United States,” Vance remarked, implying that Harris had the power to intervene but has chosen not to do so. He revealed that both he and Trump have been actively fighting the acquisition, yet no significant movement has been made under Harris’s watch.

On foreign policy, Vance criticized Harris for her handling of international affairs, particularly after her running mate, Tim Walz, ignored a question about the tragic deaths of six Israeli hostages. “At least offer sympathies for the innocent people who just lost their lives, in particular an American citizen,” Vance said, condemning Walz’s lack of response. He argued that the deaths were a direct result of Harris’s chaotic foreign policy, contrasting her record with Trump’s administration, which he said had brought peace and stability.

“Kamala Harris has us on the brink of World War III,” Vance warned, expressing concern over her ability to negotiate with global leaders like Vladimir Putin. He pointed out that Harris often avoids tough interviews and suggested that her inability to handle diplomatic challenges could lead the U.S. into further international turmoil.

Vance also weighed in on the ongoing military recruitment crisis, blaming Harris and the Biden administration’s policies for the shortfall in recruitment numbers. With tens of thousands of recruits missing, Vance expressed concern that the U.S. could face serious readiness issues. “Kamala Harris wants the United States Army to be about gender inclusion and ridiculous diversity politics, instead of about serving your country,” he said, arguing that these policies have discouraged potential recruits from joining the military.

Vance raised the specter of a military draft, warning that Harris’s foreign policy decisions could lead the U.S. into another war, but it wouldn’t be her family fighting on the front lines. “It’s going to be working- and middle-class kids across the state of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin,” he said. Vance emphasized that re-electing Donald Trump would restore trust in the military and resolve the recruitment crisis, as people are more likely to serve under a president they trust.

Despite concerns over polling numbers and a gender gap between the Trump-Vance ticket and Harris’s campaign, Vance remained confident about winning over undecided voters. He stressed the importance of personal engagement and authenticity, saying that he and Trump prefer direct interactions with voters rather than relying on scripted, teleprompter-driven speeches. “What I put stock in is the wisdom of the American people,” Vance said, emphasizing that their approach is to meet people where they are, not to hide behind staged events.
