California Sheriff Slams Harris: “She Does Not Have Our Support”
In a recent interview on ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ Sheriff Mike Boudreaux of Tulare County, California, made it clear that he does not support Vice President Kamala Harris’s efforts on border security.
The controversy arose after a video showed Boudreaux and other law enforcement officials alongside Harris, which has been used to imply their endorsement of her policies.
“Here in California, we want a leader who’s going to support law enforcement. As you know, she helped support BLM rioters trying to bail them out of jail. She was a huge supporter of defunding the police,” Boudreaux explained.

He added: “When she was the attorney general under Governor Brown, she removed over 50 different task force from Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement under her command. And so that’s not a leader we need for law enforcement. We need someone who’s going to stand behind law enforcement just like Donald Trump does.”
Boudreaux, who served as sheriff during the time the video was recorded, expressed strong disapproval of the portrayed narrative.
“The ad itself is deceptive,” Boudreaux stated. “If you take a look at the pictures, you can definitely see the disdain on our faces. Take a close look. We were truly disgusted the fact she came in for a photo op and left.”

The sheriff emphasized that Harris’s support for movements like Black Lives Matter and her stance on defunding the police are at odds with the needs of law enforcement officers who are combating crime and drug trafficking on the ground.
Boudreaux also highlighted that the current administration’s handling of the border crisis, including human trafficking and drug smuggling, remains a significant concern.
