Brandon Judd Slams Democratic Resistance to Border Security
In a recent appearance on ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ Brandon Judd, former president of the National Border Patrol Council, criticized Democratic leaders for undermining border security and ignoring the will of the American people.
“When you play with the security of the American people, you’re going to get pushback. And that’s why we saw an overwhelming vote for President Trump,” Judd explained.
“We saw that in 2016. He secured the border and then all of a sudden people forgot about that. Now we’re back to this year and we just saw the American people say that they want safety and security in this country. And that starts with border security. That starts with keeping the fence and all that. That starts with keeping the criminal aliens out.”
He continued: “And that’s what this president has done. And he’s going to be able to do it again.”
Judd also addressed the growing divide over immigration enforcement, particularly highlighting the stance of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.
In response to a clip of Governor Pritzker’s recent remarks, where the Illinois Democrat expressed opposition to deploying National Guard troops to his state to enforce immigration policies, Judd dismissed the idea.
“He can’t do that. He knows he can’t do that. Those are talking points. Look, Laura, behind the scenes, he’s going to work with this administration because he has to,” he said. “If he doesn’t, there will be federal aid that will be withheld from it.”
Judd added: “President Trump has proven he’s able to get people that have pushed back like Mexico, to actually step up to the plate. He will get what needs to be done, done because J.B. Pritzker can’t stop him from doing it.”
