Charlie Kirk: Gen Z Voters Now Lean Republican by 12 Points
Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk highlighted a significant shift among young voters, citing new data that challenges prevailing narratives. Speaking on The Ingraham Angle, Kirk referenced the Spring 2025 Yale Youth Poll, which reveals that voters aged 18 to 21 favor Republican candidates by an 11.7-point margin over Democrats in upcoming congressional elections.
“That’s right,” Kirk stated, “young people are now leaning almost 12 points more Republican. The Democrat Party took young voters for granted, and now they’re losing them.”
Kirk attributes this generational shift to tangible results delivered under Donald Trump’s leadership. “The left keeps convincing themselves MAGA is going to go away,” he said. “But what we’re seeing is a multiracial, multiethnic, multigenerational movement that’s only getting stronger.”
Trump Delivers—and Young Voters Notice
Kirk emphasized that former President Trump is fulfilling promises that resonate with Americans across age groups. “He’s going after Harvard’s tax-exempt status,” Kirk noted, referring to the elite institution as “a glorified hedge fund with a college attached.”
In addition to challenging established institutions, Trump continues to focus on policies central to his platform—securing the southern border, implementing tariffs on China, and prioritizing American interests.
“These aren’t just campaign slogans,” Kirk asserted. “Trump is following through. That’s why he’s gaining support not just from traditional conservative bases, but from younger voters who see action instead of empty words.”
As the election approaches, Kirk believes the energy behind Trump is growing—especially among a demographic that Democrats once assumed they owned. “This isn’t fading,” he said. “It’s surging.”
