Mike Waltz: Violent Cartels Have No Place in America
In a recent segment of The Ingraham Angle, Mike Waltz, National Security Advisor to President Trump, outlined the administration’s aggressive approach to removing violent foreign criminals from the United States. He emphasized the national security threat posed by Tren de Aragua, a designated foreign terrorist organization infiltrating American communities.
“Our sovereignty and the safety of our citizens are core national security issues,” Waltz stated. “These gang members operate as an extension of a foreign terrorist organization. They are no different than ISIS in the way they rape, torture, kill, and maim their victims.”
The Trump administration has launched deportation flights to remove these criminals, a move welcomed by law enforcement nationwide. “Local officers, sheriffs, and communities are saying, ‘Thank you, President Trump,’” Waltz emphasized. He also praised El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele for assisting in the crackdown. According to Waltz, Bukele’s strong stance serves as a deterrent to other criminals considering illegal entry into the U.S.
Judicial Resistance to Trump’s Policies
Despite the administration’s firm approach, judicial interference remains a challenge. Recently, a federal district court judge attempted to halt deportation flights, a move the White House is fighting.
“This administration will do everything necessary to clean up our streets and fix the mess Joe Biden left behind,” Waltz said. “Whether through deportation flights, legal battles, or any available measure, we will remove these terrorists.”
Critics argue that the administration is overstepping its authority. However, Waltz dismissed these claims. He stressed that criminal organizations like Tren de Aragua qualify as foreign terrorist groups, not state actors. “We treat them just like the Houthis, ISIS, and other terrorist organizations,” he asserted.
The Consequences of Biden’s Open Border Policies
Waltz highlighted the devastating impact of Biden’s border policies, citing alarming statistics. “At least 40% of girls crossing the border end up trafficked into sex slavery—some estimates say the number is even higher,” he revealed. Under Biden, criminal networks flourished, expanding their operations in U.S. cities.
“These cartels exploited open borders, ran criminal enterprises, and called in reinforcements,” Waltz said. “Now, that era is over.”
As the legal battle over deportation flights continues, Waltz assured Americans that the Trump administration remains committed to using every tool available to protect the country. “Working with DHS, Tom Homan, and Stephen Miller, we will find a way to send these criminals where they belong,” he said.
With a clear national security mandate, the Trump administration is making one thing clear: foreign terrorist gangs will no longer have a foothold in America.
