Stephen Miller: Trump Defends U.S., Elites Defend Foreign Interests
White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor Stephen Miller is sounding the alarm. He slammed a recent federal court ruling that blocked President Trump’s effort to cancel student visas tied to the Chinese Communist Party. In a segment of The Ingraham Angle, Miller said the ruling is part of a larger “judicial coup” where activist judges are trying to derail policies that protect American sovereignty and security.
“The president has clear authority to stop foreign nationals from entering the country,” Miller said. He called the lower court decision “obscene” and accused Harvard of ignoring subpoenas from the Department of Homeland Security.
China’s Academic Espionage
Miller explained how China exploits American universities and visa programs. “They steal our secrets and industries,” he said. According to him, this theft has happened for decades, especially since China joined the World Trade Organization. He emphasized that this is not just about academics—it’s about national security.
Today, nearly 25% of all international students in the U.S. come from China. Many of them study in sensitive fields. Miller argued that this situation invites large-scale espionage and economic sabotage.
Harvard’s Defiance and the Federal Bench
Harvard, Miller said, refused to cooperate with DHS investigations into foreign students. The school also has a long history of race-based admissions policies that federal courts have flagged. “Harvard is breaking the law and protecting national security threats,” Miller said.
He also criticized Massachusetts District Judge Allison Burroughs, an Obama appointee, for halting the administration’s visa policy. Miller argued that the judge’s ruling favors Harvard’s bottom line over American law. “She’s siding with a university that wants foreign cash while ignoring the Constitution,” he said.
“For Foreigners, Everything. For Americans, Nothing.”
Miller warned that the Democratic Party now places foreign interests above American citizens. “Their motto is: for foreigners, everything; for Americans, nothing,” he said.
President Trump, on the other hand, is acting to defend the middle class and restore fairness in immigration. Miller said the Supreme Court will have a chance to shut down what he described as lawless rulings from lower courts.
“This is about protecting American workers,” he said. “It’s about standing up for the people who built this country.”
