Harris’s CNN Debacle: No Answers, No Hope, No Plan

Beyond our wondering how bad Kamala Harris’s unedited remarks on CNN must have been….

The big takeaway from her joint appearance is that Obama’s old campaign advisers who are now helping her don’t really have great answers to any of these questions:

• Did you change your position on fracking? My values haven’t changed.
• What do you say to people who miss Trump’s economy? The economy was terrible when we took over.
• Gov. Walz, what’s your explanation for the confusion over your military service? My record has been out there for over 40 years.
• Do you have any regrets about telling people that President Biden was strong? None at all.
• Why didn’t you do anything about the border? We had a bill, but President Trump killed it.

Remember, these are the answers that they gave her after weeks of thought (and probably tested on focus groups). This is the best they’ve got. That’s why they don’t want to talk about the issues – they have nothing to say and no hope to offer.
