Billions Wasted: NGOs Profiting Off Illegal Immigration Face Trump’s Crackdown

For years, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) have profited from the crisis at the southern border. They have received billions in taxpayer dollars while facilitating illegal immigration. As Laura noted in a recent segment of The Ingraham Angle, three major NGOs—Global Refuge, Southwest Key Programs, and Endeavors Inc.—saw their combined revenue grow from $597 million in 2019 to $2 billion by 2022. The CEOs of these groups, meant to be charitable, are taking in massive salaries. One executive at Southwest Key Programs earns over $1 million a year.

“Under the Biden administration, you are unknowingly subsidizing the killing of Americans, the overwhelming of our country by illegals,” Laura stated. “Obviously, the drugs, the human trafficking, all of it. We end up subsidizing it through these NGOs. Well, luckily, President Trump, he’s putting it to an end.”

Kristi Noem: DHS Ending NGO Funding

Current DHS Secretary Kristi Noem made it clear that this practice will no longer continue. “Today we are announcing that we have stopped all grant funding that’s being abused by NGOs to facilitate illegal immigration into this country,” Noem stated. “We’re not spending another dime to help the destruction of this country.”

Charles Marino: NGOs Are Running ‘Largest Human Trafficking Operation’

Joining Laura to discuss the issue was Charles Marino, former senior adviser at the Department of Homeland Security. He exposed the extent of these NGOs’ role in the crisis, making shocking allegations about their involvement in human trafficking.

“What people need to know is the role they’ve played over the past four years at the request of the Biden administration,” Marino said. “Specifically with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services. They have facilitated the largest human trafficking operation in the United States. They may well have been working directly for the Mexican cartels.”

The scale of the problem is alarming. Marino pointed out that 350,000 unaccompanied minors have gone missing after being processed through these NGOs. This raises serious concerns about their safety. “There should be outrage here, not only from the American people, but from Congress,” he urged. “There needs to be an immediate investigation to bring these CEOs before Congress and determine exactly what was going on.”

Catholic Charities Under Scrutiny

The role of religious organizations in the crisis was also discussed. Laura highlighted criticism from Senator J.D. Vance of Catholic Charities. Some religious leaders have pushed back against such scrutiny. However, Marino argued that their involvement cannot be ignored.

“When these charities establish operations south of the border in Mexico and along migration routes to educate illegal migrants on how to gain entry into the United States, what are we doing here?” Marino asked. He emphasized the troubling reality of these so-called humanitarian efforts.

A Step Toward Border Security

Laura concluded the segment by stressing that President Trump’s decision to cut off funding to these NGOs is a critical step in restoring border security. “President Trump is going to put an end to this madness. And it’s about time. This has been going on for decades, frankly.”

With the 2024 election on the horizon, the future of these taxpayer-funded NGOs and their role in illegal immigration remains a pressing issue. Will Congress take action to investigate their involvement? Will the American people hold accountable those who have profited from the border crisis? Time will tell.
