The UFC plans to stage one of the most unique events in sports history. Next July, as part of the America250 celebration, the Octagon will rise on the White House grounds for a headline fight between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. UFC President Dana White called it a “one-of-one experience,” and President Trump promised a spectacle that will redefine fight night in America.

Chandler on The Angle

Appearing on The Ingraham Angle, UFC star Michael Chandler called the upcoming showdown “absolutely amazing.” He explained, “One thing is for sure — expect the unexpected. When you’ve got Dana White and Donald Trump behind it, nothing is impossible.” Chandler said the fight carries added weight because it pairs two rivals and lands on America’s 250th birthday celebration.

Biggest Fight in UFC History?

Chandler didn’t hesitate when asked if this could be the biggest fight of his career. He said it has “all the ingredients needed for the biggest fight in UFC history… Conor McGregor and myself at the White House on America’s birthday.” He stressed that such a spectacle has never been attempted and will not be repeated. “That fight at the White House will never, ever be done again,” Chandler said.

A Historic Celebration

The UFC will merge the nation’s premier combat sport with the patriotic celebration of 250 years of American independence. For both fighters and fans, this will be a night that blends history, competition, and spectacle — a one-of-a-kind event worthy of the White House stage.
