Lara Trump on GOP Strategy: ‘We’re Turning Out Low-Propensity Voters Early’

In the final stretch of the election campaign, Donald Trump is intensifying his efforts across key swing states. With just days remaining until polls close, Trump’s strategy includes multiple stops in states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. This approach mirrors his successful 2020 tactics, aiming to galvanize support in critical areas.

Lara Trump, RNC co-chair, joined to discuss this strategy, dismissing claims about a lack of Republican canvassing efforts in Pennsylvania. “Those are completely incorrect,” she stated. “Take a look around Bucks County today, where people waited in lines for over six hours to cast their votes—many of them Republicans. In Pennsylvania, we even got three extra days for early voting due to previous closures,” Lara explained.

The conversation highlighted targeted efforts by the Trump campaign to engage low-propensity voters across the country. “I’ll give you an example,” she continued, “In North Carolina, about 8% of early voters on the Republican side also voted in 2020. Yet, 18% of early Republican voters this time didn’t vote in the last election. That means we’re reaching our goal. We’re mobilizing those low-propensity voters to come out early, and that’s how we plan to win this election.”

On the Supreme Court’s recent decision regarding provisional ballots in Pennsylvania, Lara expressed disappointment but emphasized a legal victory concerning mail-in ballots. She described the requirement for dating mail-in ballots as a key safeguard to ensure transparency and voter confidence.

“That safeguard lets people feel assured about sending their ballots,” Lara said. “With a date, we can check it, and they know it’s when it’s supposed to be. Democrats have opposed this law, but you have to ask, why? What’s the reason for not wanting a date? It raises questions. We’re proud of that win.”

Lara also addressed the campaign’s legal readiness, revealing that they have over 500 lawyers deployed in each swing state to handle potential issues. “I get reports daily. People flag issues for me, and we address them right away,” she noted. “We want everyone to feel confident that their vote counts.”
