In a lively segment on “The Ingraham Angle,” host Laura Ingraham and Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo delved into the political challenges facing Vice President Kamala Harris.

Arroyo highlighted the unconventional strategies Harris’ campaign is trying to use to connect with American voters, including her recent Vogue cover feature.

“Vogue is also endorsing her, Laura. Inside it reads this way: ‘Only rarely are individuals summoned for acts of national rescue, but in July, Vice President Kamala Harris received one of those calls,” Arroyo explained.

“Laura, they shot this national rescue cover at her residence on October 7th. That same day Ron DeSantis was in the hurricane Center preparing for a storm. Okay… a real leader.”

Ingraham quipped about the pressures of such appearances, suggesting that posing for a renowned photographer like Annie Leibovitz might be more taxing than it appears.

She also offered Arroyo three wishes for political changes, humorously addressing Harris’ beer-drinking photo op with Stephen Colbert.

“She’s trying to be a cool kid and get the young man to vote for her,” Ingraham said.

Arroyo agreed with the host, stating that one of his wishes is for Harris to stop adopting accents in front of different audiences in an attempt to appear relatable.

Why does she have to adopt different identities? Depending on the audience she is front of man?” Arroyo asked.

“This is why Donald Trump is cutting through with young men of all races because whatever he is, he’s authentically himself in front of all comers. The man doesn’t change or adapt little accents or create little identities depending on who he’s in front of. And that is compelling.”

Arroyo also wished for networks to ensure their anchors have proper safety gear when reporting in dangerous conditions, referencing a recent incident involving CNN’s Anderson Cooper during his coverage of Hurricane Milton.

“What were they thinking, Laura? The last time he was that stunned? It was New Year’s Eve and Andy Cohen had just bought him his 12th schnapps,” Arroyo said.

“So poor, poor Anderson. He shouldn’t be out there without a helmet on. He’s 57 years old, for goodness sake.”
