Lara Trump: Kamala Harris Can’t Deliver Change, People Want Trump Back

Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), appeared on The Ingraham Angle to weigh in on Kamala Harris’s role in the upcoming presidential election and address concerns surrounding voter access following recent hurricanes. Trump dismissed a recent poll showing Kamala Harris outperforming Donald Trump as a “change candidate” among likely voters. “I don’t believe that poll at all,” she said, emphasizing that Harris has been by Joe Biden’s side, making decisions that many Americans reject. “No one believes that there will be any sort of change with Kamala Harris.”

Lara Trump highlighted the public’s enthusiasm for Donald Trump’s return to the White House. “Everywhere I go, people are desperate. They can’t afford a Kamala Harris presidency,” she said. Reflecting on a recent Trump rally in Butler, Trump added, “That was the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen… People are excited to vote and vote early for Donald Trump.”

The conversation then shifted to the impact of Hurricane Helene on North Carolina, Trump’s home state. While she emphasized that safety and rescue efforts come first, she stressed the importance of voter access in disaster-affected areas. “We don’t want people who have gone through a horrific tragedy like a hurricane to lose their ability to vote,” Trump stated. To address this, she revealed that the RNC had sent a memorandum to Governor Roy Cooper and the North Carolina General Assembly outlining measures to ensure voter access, including allowing displaced voters to cast ballots in different counties and setting up temporary voting locations.

Lara Trump encouraged the public to get involved by visiting a newly launched site, DonaldJTrump.com/hurricane, where volunteers can sign up to help ensure that displaced voters in North Carolina and Florida still have access to vote. “It is absolutely vital in an election like this. We cannot leave a single vote on the line,” she emphasized.

Finally, when asked about potential legal challenges, Trump noted that the RNC had filed over 100 lawsuits and would not hesitate to take legal action if necessary to ensure that every person affected by the hurricanes has the opportunity to vote.
