Lara Trump: Kamala Harris’s Debate Was a ‘Hollywood Performance’
Lara Trump, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, joined The Ingraham Angle to discuss Kamala Harris’s performance in the recent debate and its impact on the 2024 presidential race. Lara Trump expressed strong opinions, describing the debate as a continuation of the Democrat Party’s “Hollywood production.”
Lara pointed out how Harris, along with moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis, delivered what she considered a scripted show: “Kamala Harris is one of their best actors,” Lara said. She emphasized that Harris repeatedly relied on rehearsed lines when asked about key issues like the economy and border security. “They have cranked this machine up to high speed,” Lara remarked, highlighting the polished nature of Harris’s responses.
She argued that Harris failed to address critical concerns such as the economy, the border crisis, and foreign conflicts. “She didn’t say a single thing that convinced anybody in this country that she deserves their vote,” Lara stated. In her view, this debate illustrated how Donald Trump isn’t just running against Kamala Harris, but against an entire “system.”
Lara Trump: Your Vote Will Count
Laura Ingraham added that the debate missed key economic points, such as census data showing that Americans were financially better off under Trump. Lara agreed, stating, “People have to remember you are hiring someone for a job… Trump said it himself: You don’t have to like me, but you have to vote for me because I’m good for this country.”
Both Laura and Lara Trump concluded that the American people want results, not performances, with Lara emphasizing, “You have to look at his policies and truly reflect on how your life was when he was in office.”
