What the Failla?: Democrats Want to Transition Private Ryan
Comedian Jimmy Failla recently joined ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ to discuss topics ranging from military leadership to border security.
Laura began by commenting on a Senate hearing where Senator Elizabeth Warren questioned Pete Hegseth over his position on retired generals working for the defense industry.
“You can’t expect her to know his rank if she doesn’t know her own DNA. Okay?” Failla pointed out. “If you can’t get your origin story right, you’re probably going to botch somebody else’s.”
Their discussion centered on the broader divide between political parties.
“For anybody watching at home who missed the hearing, the conflict comes down to this: Pete Hegseth wants a military that can save Private Ryan. The Democrats want a military that can transition Private Ryan. Okay?” Failla recapped.
“I think we should choose wisely here. The soldiers want access. The loonies with the blue hair don’t. That’s everything you need to know.”
The conversation then shifted to a tense exchange between Representatives Nancy Mace and Jasmine Crockett.
“Every time I watch Jasmine Crockett speak, I feel like she’s testifying on a show called The Stupid People’s Court. It’s so hard to watch. And yes, she always goes to that other insult with Nancy Mace or anybody who dares counter some of her limited thought process. But good on Nancy Mace for stepping up for herself here,” Failla said.
Failla humorously suggested that Mace’s no-nonsense approach could be useful in securing the southern border, given her experience as a Waffle House waitress.
“Like, if we really wanted to secure the border, you send the women who police Waffle House at two in the morning down there. Tom Homan can take the rest of the year off. We’d be fine.”
