Piers Morgan: Trump 2.0 Is a Hurricane
Piers Morgan delivered a powerful analysis of former President Donald Trump’s resurgence, describing him as a leader unlike anything the world has seen before. Speaking on The Ingraham Angle, Morgan painted a picture of a man reborn—both personally and politically. After surviving an assassination attempt that nearly took his life, Trump has returned to the political battlefield with unmatched energy, focus, and determination.
Trump’s Second Shot at Life and the Presidency
Morgan, who recently had a lengthy phone conversation with Trump, noted that the former president exuded confidence like never before. “I spoke to President Trump last week on the phone for quite a long chat, and he was in the most confident mood, the most relaxed mood, and the most focused mood I’ve known him in many, many years,” Morgan said.
He described Trump as a man with two second chances—one at life and one at the presidency. The failed assassination attempt, which left him with a bullet wound grazing his ear, has only strengthened his resolve. “I think he feels he’s got a do-over on his life,” Morgan explained. “And I also think he’s got a do-over in his mind on the presidency.”
According to Morgan, Trump has learned from his first term—what he got right, what went wrong, and how to correct course. Unlike his first run, where he stormed into Washington as an outsider, this time he knows the system, its players, and how to govern more effectively. “You say hit the ground running—this guy’s hit the ground like a hurricane this time around,” Morgan declared.
Democrats and the Media Are Clueless on How to Stop Him
Morgan didn’t hold back when discussing the political opposition. He asserted that Democrats are completely lost in their approach to taking on Trump, lacking both strategy and leadership. “They clearly have absolutely no idea what they’re doing as a party now or how to take on Donald Trump,” he said.
He also torched MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace for her shocking remarks about a young cancer survivor honored by Trump during his speech. Wallace, instead of celebrating the child’s resilience, used the moment to launch an attack on Trump, even making a disturbing reference to suicide. Morgan called it “one of the most disgusting, shameful, reprehensible things I have ever seen on the news in America.”
For Morgan, the Democrats’ and media’s behavior isn’t just misguided—it’s self-destructive. Instead of presenting a strong case against Trump, they continue to engage in petty theatrics, holding “stupid signs” and staging walkouts, while failing to address real issues. Their response to Trump’s speech, he said, was a gift to the former president. “If Donald Trump could have scripted a reaction from Democrats, it would have been exactly what unfurled before our eyes,” Morgan remarked.
As Trump charges forward, the world is watching in awe. From the UK, Morgan observed that America is experiencing an unstoppable wave of political energy. “It is thrilling. It is exciting. It is like nothing we’ve ever seen before,” he said.
