Friday Follies: Kamala’s Bitter, Jill’s Mad and Joe’s Lost
In this week’s Friday Follies, Raymond Arroyo and Laura Ingraham kicked off the segment by highlighting a series of awkward moments from Joe Biden’s presidency. These moments, they noted, reflect a broader and more troubling trend.
“The amazing thing is you think these are sort of old clips from yesteryear,” Arroyo said. “It continued to the very last day of the Biden presidency. Four years later, we still don’t know what the hell he’s saying.”
Arroyo went further, adding, “He really should travel with his own interpreter now to translate what he means because he’s making no sense. Just yesterday at the Defense Department, they had to guide him to his spot because he didn’t know where he was going.”
Ingraham acknowledged the inevitable challenges of aging, stating, “That is going to be most of us at some point in life.” However, she emphasized that a president in visible decline is especially concerning during a period of unprecedented global challenges.
“As an American, Laura, it breaks your heart,” Arroyo added. “You have a president leaving office with no majesty, no grace, no charm.”
“There was a time when, at the end of an administration, you could at least say, ‘Well, he did some good things,’” Arroyo continued. “And look, he really did fight for the republic. Here, it’s the same old, same old once again. It’s tragic—not only for him but for the American people.”
Ingraham wrapped up the conversation with a forward-looking perspective. “I’m done with the Bidens, okay? I want to focus on the future,” she said. “I want to focus on Trump’s plans, the challenges ahead, beating them, and having a lot of fun in the new year.”
