Republicans returned invigorated from their relaxing winter meeting in North Carolina this weekend with a "new Republican slogan: Renew, grow, win. Is this one of those new hair growth ads?"

  • Hours 1-3:
Laura: Supporting amnesty won't gain Hispanic votes
"Amnesty is not the way to win Hispanic votes for the GOP. McCain lost in 2008 to President Obama even though McCain was the guy spearheading immigration reform in 2007. If you compete with Democrats at giving stuff away for free you lose - you lose the moral high ground, you lose the base, and then the party is done."

  • Hours 1-3:
Priebus gives postmortem of 2012 election
Reince Priebus, the Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), addressed the inability of the RNC to achieve an effective grassroots initiative because of limited time, inadequate resources, and poor ground support. "We didn't even have a credit card that was functional in the building for ninety days because they were all suspended here when I walked in the door," Priebus said. When Laura pressed him on the RNC's ineffectiveness, Priebus was adamant that in a presidential campaign pressure emanates from other areas. "You can be the quarterback but you don't always get to call all the plays," Priebus asserted. "The presidential campaign has a lot of authority."
