The boys were sitting at a table during a break when Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez asked them to turn their American flag t-shirts inside-out. When they refused, the boys were ordered to go to the principal's office where they were threatened with suspension.
Rodriguez and Principal Nick Boden have made no public comment after the incident. Neither would appear on Laura's show. The Morgan Hill Unified School District Superintendent's office released a statement saying it did not agree with the harassment of the students and that they were free to wear their patriotic clothing back to school Thursday.
Diana Dariano and Julie Fagerstrom, mothers of two of the boys, spoke to Laura on today's show. Listen to the segment here.
