Obama has time to party, no time to extend tax rates Posted by Laura Ingraham
This past weekend the President promised to roll up his sleeves and extend the current tax rates for all Americans. He promptly fell back on his old razzle dazzle on Sunday night, partying with the likes of Paul McCartney and Oprah. After the worst jobs news of 2010 and more proof that Obamanomics is failing, President Obama still doesn't feel it is his job to provide any sort of leadership.
Today is 3 days after the deficit commission had their plan shot down while Obama failed to do more than mention his handpicked team of experts. Even more egregious is him handing off tax negotiations to Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Budget Director Jacob Lew. He doesn't have the time to sit down and learn about our deficit crisis, he doesn't have time to pass an extension of the current tax rates, but he has the time to party at the Kennedy Center.
It is because of this that both sides in Washington are waving him goodbye and moving on without him and his failed "leadership".
